Built with Recycled Materials--Designed for the Future

Land Rover vehicles are constructed using 85% recycled materials, a decision that offers environmental benefits both during production and long after the vehicle's life on the road.

A key component of this sustainability approach is aluminum. While aluminum can be energy-intensive to produce initially, it is very easy and inexpensive to recycle. This is the opposite of steel, which is cheaper to create new but difficult and costly to reuse.

Because Land Rover vehicles are built extensively from aluminum:

  • They are more sustainable to manufacture.

  • They are easier to recycle at the end of their lifecycle.

  • They avoid the landfill fate that many steel-intensive vehicles face.
